We had our wedding here last winter, and we couldn't be happier! Maggie and the whole Wedding Studio team were a dream to work with. They were very helpful and made the experience fantastic, and took the stress away from us on the day of the event. They truly helped us make it the best day ever! The spa was lovely, and everyone we spoke to was great! The room we stayed in was in the main building and had a gorgeous view of the lake. Friends and family stayed in some of the villas on the property that were beautiful, and made seeing everyone convenient. Booked a trip for our one-year anniversary, everyone was just as welcoming as before!

Beautiful resort, and an extra special shout-out to Megan at reception! After we experienced an issue with our villa, Megan went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. 10/10 would absolutely book a future trip here!

I booked a one bedroom offsite in the private rentals. However, when we arrived and checked in the accommodations look like it was straight out of the 1980s and had a very musty smell to it. Went to the front desk and spoke with Emma and Janice, who were more than accommodating to put us in another room. We ended up staying in a room with a fireplace at the lodge. I’m not sure if all the rooms are updated, but this one was very good. The mistake I made was not looking at the photographs on the website, but just went with what the reservation i person booked for us. Before you book it all site private rental. Please look at the photographs. A lot of the rentals are very dated from my understanding. My wife went to the spa and said it was excellent. The grounds are very nice. While the resort is dated in certain areas, my understanding is that new ownership is doing things to bring it up to current standards hence the new Spa. We would return again.

WEDDING REVIEW: We celebrated our wedding at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa in September 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the very beginning, Maggie and Sarah were incredibly helpful and attentive, guiding us through every step of the planning process. Maggie’s expertise and dedication were evident, and she made us feel confident that our big day would be perfect. On our wedding day, Maggie and Sarah were phenomenal. They took care of all the little details, from setting up the decorations to ensuring that everything was in place. Their meticulous attention to detail allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our special day without any worries. Maggie and Sarah were always available to answer our questions and accommodate any last-minute changes, which was incredibly reassuring. We had our wedding ceremony and reception outdoors on The Point Patio. The outdoor setup was beautiful, and the ambiance was perfect, beyond what we had envisioned. One of our special requests was to have a plated dinner outside, and they made it happen seamlessly. The food was excellent, with each dish prepared perfectly. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious meal and the stunning presentation. The entire team at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly memorable. Maggie and Sarah's professionalism, warmth, and dedication were instrumental in making our dream wedding a reality. We are so grateful for their hard work and would highly recommend Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa to anyone looking for a perfect wedding venue. Beautiful view out our courtyard room to Galena Lake. Room was comfy, clean, quiet. Our fave moments -- sitting on patio early AM, coffee in hand, watching the many birds. Phone app identified mockingbird, summer tanager, cedar waxwing, and others. We would stay again. Ps, my husband enjoyed their golf course :-)

Eagle Ridge Inn in Galena, Illinois, has exceeded our expectations during our stay. We're currently enjoying our time in a lovely Court Yard room, which is both cozy and beautifully maintained. The stunning location and welcoming atmosphere make it a perfect setting for our family gathering. We're especially excited for my daughter's weeding this Sunday at the gorgeous patio, which promises to be an unforgettable occasion. The staff has been incredibly accommodating, ensuring that everything is perfect for our special day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway or event venue.

We were warmly greeted by Eva at the front desk. We enjoyed the Winter Carnival at Eagle Ridge. It was a perfect place for a couple Spa weekend. We did the 3 K Sasquatch Race for exercise, and cycled through the pool, sauna, pool and steam room together for health benefits- even stood in the snow outside the pool after the sauna.

We stayed in one of the private homes, unit 501. The house was well maintained and clean with everything exactly as described. There was plenty of space for three couples. The outdoor fire pit, the hot tub, and the screened in porch were very nice touches. They have an easy checkout just like a hotel. They take care of the trash, food left in the refrigerator, everything you can think of! This was so nice compared to a VRBO where you spend 2 hours cleaning up and worry that you forgot one of the owners 30 items from their list. Additionally, this was the most friendly and accommodating staff I have been around in a long time! Will definitely come back!
